Janet Sill
Janet L. Sill, 73, of Ross Township, formerly of Brighton Heights, died Wednesday, Oct. 26, 2011.
Mrs. Sill was a nurse's aide at Little Sisters of the Poor for 28 years.
She is survived by her husband, George J. Sill; five children, Kathy Dostlik, Michael Sill and his wife Denise, Janet J. Sill, LynnDee Henc and her husband David and Robbie L. Sill; five siblings, Lois Booth, Joyce Scherle, Raymond Reihart, David W. Reihart Jr. and Mary Bliss; and six grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brother, Richard Saylor.
Friends were received at Schellhaas Funeral Home, West View, until the time of services on Saturday. Donations are suggested to the American Lung Association, 11676 Perry Highway, Wexford, PA 15090.

Daniel Quigley
Daniel L. "Quig" Quigley, 62, of Ross Township, formerly of Brighton Heights, died Friday, Oct. 28, 2011.
Mr. Quigley was a 1967 graduate of North Catholic High School. He was a U.S. Army veteran having served as a military policeman at Sandia Base, NM 1969-71. He worked at UPS for 28 years and retied in 2007. He was a longtime member of St. Teresa of Avila Church.
He is survived by his wife, Lindsay Garrity Quigley; four children, Allison Hixson and her husband Rich, Megan Carey and her husband Damion, Sarah Quigley and Kevin Quigley; three siblings, Catherine "Bits" Wain, David Quigley and his wife Ellie and Thomas Quigley; and six grandchildren, Nicholas, Rachael, Natalie, Owen, Zachary and Lukas. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Isabelle Isherwood Quigley; and five siblings, Patricia, Kenneth and his wife Laura, Donald and his wife Claudia, Edward and his wife Cathy and Sandra Quigley.
Friends were received at T.B. Devlin Funeral Home, North Hills. A Mass of Christian Burial was held in St. Teresa of Avila Church on Wednesday. Donations are suggested to Catholic Charities, 212 Ninth St., Pittsburgh, PA 15222.

Audrey Wharton
Audrey Irons Wharton, 78, of McCandless Township, wife of the late Roger A. Wharton, died Friday, Oct. 28, 2011.
She is survived by her daughter, Nancy Irons Wharton.
Friends were received at McDonald-Linn Funeral Home, Avalon. Funeral services were held in Ingomar United Methodist Church on Wednesday. Memorial contributions are suggested to Animal Friends, 562 Camp Horne Rd., Pittsburgh, PA 15237 or a favorite conservation organization.

Richard McFarlane Sr.
Richard J. McFarlane Sr., 88, of Bellevue, husband of the late Elizabeth A. "Betty" McFarlane, died Saturday, Oct. 29, 2011.
Mr. McFarlane served as a radio operator aboard a B29 during World War II in the Pacific during the Japanese air offensive.
He is survived by three children, Richard J. McFarlane Jr. and his wife Chris, Patricia Brelloch and her husband Rick and Kathleen Weifenbach and her husband Lee; three grandchildren, Kelly Harshman and her husband James, Colleen McFarlane and Megan Brelloch; and two great-grandsons, Elijah and Isaiah Harshman.
There was no visitation and burial was private. Arrangements were made by the Orion C. Pinkerton Funeral Home, Avalon.

Rosetta Morrissey
Rosetta M. Clark Morrissey, wife of the late Earl P. Morrissey, died Thursday, Oct. 27, 2011.
She is survived by two sons, Robert W. Morrissey and his wife Carolyn and Timothy C. Morrissey and his wife Sue; four grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Friends were received at Thomas P. Kunsak Funeral Home, North Side. A funeral mass was held in Risen Lord Church on Friday.
