Mildred Silvester
Mildred J. Silvester, 81, of Crafton died Monday, Nov. 17, 2014.
She is survived by her son, Pete Silvester and his wife Carin. She was preceded in death by two children, Sheryl and Dino Silvester.
There was no visitation and burial was private. Arrangements were made by the Orion C. Pinkerton Funeral Home, Avalon.

Joseph Silvester
Joseph C. Silvester died Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2014.
He is survived by his wife, Margie Tusa Silvester; two sons, Leonard Silvester and his wife Marianne and Daniel B. Silvester; three siblings,Edith Cary, Ruth Erdlan and Edward Hood; seven grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Howard Hood.
Friends were received at Rex T. Smith Funeral Home, North Side. A Mass of Christian Burial was held in the Church of the Assumption on Monday.

Richard Wisniewski Sr.
Richard J. Wisniewski Sr., 63, of Bellevue died Thursday, Nov. 20, 2014.
Mr. Wisniewski was a registered nurse at Ohio Valley Hospital for more than 25 years.
He is survived by his wife, Alice Wisniewski; three children, Richard Wisniewski Jr. of Freedom, Christopher Wisniewski of Baden ;and Laura Taylor and her husband Ken of Ambridge; two siblings, Daniel Wisniewski and Lorraine LePant, both of Seattle, WA. He was preceded in death by his mother, Wanda Wisniewski.
Friends were received at the Orion C. Pinkerton Funeral Home, Avalon, where services were held on Tuesday. Burial will be in National Cemetery of the Alleghenies later. Memorials are suggested to the American Diabetes Association.

Edward Walsh Jr.
Edward D. Walsh Jr., 80, of Moon Township, formerly of the North Side, died Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2014.
Mr. Walsh was a member of St. Margaret Mary Church where he was an usher. He was a 4th degree member and treasurer of Knights of Columbus. He was a senior buyer at U.S. Airways and a member of its Retirees and Management Club. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy having served during the Korean Conflict. He was an avid Pittsburgh Pirates fan and enjoyed bowling and golf and had coached his children and grandchildren in the Moon Little League Baseball for 30 years and also volunteered and sold 50/50 with the Moon Wrestling program and MCAA as well as being a school bus and limousine driver and a "coffee meister" at Sheets in Moon.
He is survived by his wife, Judith Burns Walsh; four children, Kathy Taylor and her husband Scott of Moon , Robert Walsh and his wife Diane of Hollywood Beach, FL, Kimberly Ebsworth and her husband Ian of Imperial and Kelly Egenlauf and her husband Jon of Crafton; his twin siblings, Ruth Ehlinger and Donald Walsh, both of Bellevue; 16 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward D. Sr. and Marie Nebel Welsh; and seven siblings, Richard, Charles, William, James, Mary Alice, Thomas and Mary Grace.
Friends were received at Copeland's Moon Township Funeral Home. A funeral mass was held in St. Margaret Mary Church on Monday with Fr. Frank Kurminsky, the celebrant. Burial was in National Cemetery of the Alleghenies with full military honors. Myra Gerlach
Myra Feduska Gerlach, 69, of Ross Tiownship, died Thursday, Nov. 20, 2014.
Mrs. Gerlach was a teacher in the Northgate School District for 33 years. She enjoyed biking, swimming and lifting weights. She volunteered at Carnegie Mellon University helping at freshman arrival day, passing out "Maggie's Muffins" and helping her husband with the Kiltie band during football games.
She is survived by her husband, Paul D. Gerlach; four siblings, Connie Roman, Fran Freudenrich and her husband Robert, Dr. Nicholas Feduska and his wife Kathy and Melanie Williams and her husband Jess; 10 nieces and nephews, Chris and Brian Roman, Monica Roman Watt, David, Douglas and Robert Freudenrich, Connie Lee Franchini, Nicholas, Mark and Nathaniel Feduska; and a dear friend, Susan Stabnau. She was preceded in death by her parents, Nicholas and Stella Feduska; and her brother-in-law, Richard Roman.
Friends were received at the Lawrence T. Miller Funeral Home, Bellevue. Funeral services were held in St. Mary Ukrainian Orthodox Church, McKees Rocks, on Monday. Genevieve Wiseman
Genevieve A. Wiseman, wife of the late Henry G. Wiseman, died Friday, Nov. 21, 2014.
She is survived by her niece, Carol A. Quinn; and other nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by eight siblings; and her niece, Mary A. Quinn.
There was no visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial was held in the Church of the Assumption on Monday. Burial was in Christ Our Redeemer Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to a favorite charity. Arrangements were made by the Lawrence T. Miller Funeral Home, Bellevue.
Mildred Johnson
Mildred L. Johnson, 86, of Avalon, wife of the late Robert Johnson, died Sunday, Nov. 23, 2014.
She is survived by seven children, Robert Johnson and his wife Gail, Susan Knight and her husband Richard, Sally Heagerty and her husband Shawn, Sandy Paterson and her husband Mark, Stacey McLaughlin and her husband Chris, Shelly Johnston and her husband Norbert and Ray Johnson and his wife Julieta; three siblings, Robert Peck and his wife Rose, David Peck and his wife Joanne and Ruth Stevens and her husband Ernie; her sister-in-law, Frances Peck; 11 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews; and grandnieces and grandnephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, James Peck.

Celine Novelli
Celine M. Fritz Novelli of North Side, wife of the late Alfred J. Novelli, died Monday, Nov. 24, 2014.

She is survived by four dear friends, Linda Stapleton, Judi Landa, Ramona Buchanan and Paul Lawrence. She was preceded in death by her son, Gregory A. Novelli; and two siblings, Rose Pavlik and Clarence G. Fritz.

Friends were received at Thomas P. Kunsak Funeral Home, North Side. A funeral mass will be held in the Church of the Assumption today, Friday, at 10 a.m. Contributions are suggested to Assumption Theater Guild, 9117 Lancelot Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15237.

Mary Jane Wills
Mary Jane Brown Wills, 93, of St. John Specialty Care Center, formerly of Bellevue and West View and wife of the late Robert L. Wills Sr., died Monday, Nov. 24, 2014.

Mrs. Wills was a 1939 graduate of Perry High School. She was active in the Ladies Auxiliary of Fairview Volunteer Fire Company and was a volunteer for Meals On Wheels.

She is survived by two children, Beverly Deiss of Bellevue and Robert L. Wills Jr. and his wife Karen of Greensburg; four grandchildren, Debbie Riley and her husband Pat of Ross Twp., Michelle Longanecker and her husband Todd of Irwin, Rob Wills and his wife Melissa and Doug Wills, all of York, PA; and seven great-grandchildren, Abigail, Shane, Dylan, Robby, Grace, Alex and Claire.

Friends will be received at the Orion C. Pinkerton Funeral Home, Avalon, on Saturday, Nov. 29 from 10 a.m. until the time of services at 1 p.m. Memorials are suggested to St. John Specialty Care Center.
