Anthony Rekasie
Anthony L. Rekasie, 92, husband of the late Doris B. Rekasie, died Monday, Nov. 5, 2012.
Mr. Rekasie was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II.
He is survived by three children, Cheryl Brown and her husband Lloyd, Joyce Wright and her husband Phillip and Larry Rekasie and his wife Amy; his sister, Anna Spece; and three grandsons, Chad and Cory Rekasie and Travis Wright. He was preceded in death by four brothers.
Friends were received at Thomas P. Kunsak Funeral Home, North Side. A funeral mass was held in Risen Lord Church on Saturday.

Veronica Wagner
Veronica N. "Ronni" Jadlowiec Wagner, wife of the late John A. Jones and Fred Wagner, died Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2012.
She is survived by two children, A.C. Jones and his wife Cathy of Ohio Township and Dorothy Jadlowiec of Sewickley; three brothers, Edward Jadlowiec and his wife Stella and Henry Jadlowiec and his wife Canay, all of West View and Walter Jade and his wife Peg of Memphis, TN; five grandchildren, Val Carney, James Phlugh, Jeff Jones, Sherri Jones and Zachary Stark Jones and his wife Allegra; and two great-granddaughters, Caitlan and Catharine Carney. She was preceded in death by four siblings, Bruno, Joseph, Teddy and Ruth.
There was no visitation. Arrangements were made by the Lawrence T. Miller Funeral Home, Bellevue.

Charles Bertges
Charles O. Bertges, 97, of Ross Township, husband of the late Elizabeth C. Bertges, died Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2012.
He is survived by two daughters, Betty Koch and her husband Bernard and Barbara Friedel and her husband Ralph; seven grandchildren, Robert Koch of Phoenix, AZ, Paul Koch, Amy Baker, Kathy DiNardo, Karol Weller, Christopher Koch of New York and Joe Friedel; and 12 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Susanne Kaminski.
Friends were received at the Lawrence T. Miller Funeral Home, Bellevue. A Mass of Christian Burial was held in St. Cyril of Alexandria Church on Monday. Burial was in Christ Our Redeemer Cemetery Mausoleum.

David Montgomery Jr.
David R. Montgomery Jr., 77, of Michigan City, IN, formerly of Avalon, died Friday, Nov. 9, 2012.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley Montgomery; his daughter, Patricia M. of Brevard, NC; his sister, Mary Ann Appelt and her husband William of Ross Township; and grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Friends were received at Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, Michigan City, until the time of services on Tuesday. Burial was in Swan Lake Memorial Garden.

James Chapman
James "Wes" Chapman, 69, of Bellevue, formerly of Stowe Township, and husband of the late Theresa Chapman, died Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2012.
He is survived by four children, Colleen Chulack and her husband Douglas, Jim Chapman, Christa Chapman and her husband Jack Merling and Matt Chapman and his wife Debra; and six grandchildren, Brandon and David James Chapman, Alexis and Ryan Chulack, Christian Fletcher and Amanda Merling.
Friends were received at Anthony M. Musmanno Funeral Home, McKees Rocks, where a blessing service was held on Thursday.

Joan Yockel
Joan A. Rock Yockel, 73, of Brighton Heights, died Monday, Nov. 5, 2012.
Mrs. Yockel was a graduate of St. Benedict High School. She had worked at Mellon Bank.
She is survived by her husband, Howard L. "Buck" Yockel; two children, David Yockel and his wife Judith and Janice Greca and her husband Robert; two siblings, Richard Rock and his wife Jean and Virginia Beck and her husband Norman; and two grandchildren, Daniel and his wife Christine and Benjamin.
Friends were received at Schellhaas Funeral Home, West View. A Mass of Christian Burial was held in St. Cyril of Alexandria Church on Saturday. Donations are suggested to her church at 3854 Brighton Rd., Pittsburgh, PA 15212 or Holy Family Friary, 232 S. Home Ave., Avalon, PA 15202.

Johanna Lench
Johanna T. Lench, 93, of Leet Township, wife of the late Michael G. Lench, died Monday, Nov. 5, 2012.
Mrs. Lench was retired from the former Joseph Horne Co. department store. She was a member of Good Samaritan Church and the former Divine Redeemer Church. She was formerly a member of the Christian Mothers of Divine Redeemer and the Ambridge Sokols.
She is survived by three children, Michael and Thomas Lench of Leet Township and Michele Grandovic and her husband Leo of Ohio Township; and two grandchildren, Taylor Warmbrodt and Savannah Grandovic. She was preceded in death by her parents, Martin and Johanna Zaluby Hornak; and four siblings, Martin, John, Mary and Sr. Martin Hornak, OSF.
Friends were received at Bohn-Matich Funeral Home, Ambridge. A Mass of Christian Burial was held in Good Samaritan Church on Friday. Burial was in Good Samaritan Cemetery.

Cheryl Carlisano
Cheryl A. Carlisano, 56, of Moon Township, died Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2012.
Mrs. Carlisano enjoyed being a pet sitter and was an avid sports fan.
She is survived by her husband, Terry M. Carlisano; three children, Stacie A. Carlisano and Christie M. Carlisano, both of Moon Township and Ryan L. Carlisano of Avalon; her father, Richard Zimmer; two brothers, Richie Zimmer and his wife Barbara and Rob Zimmer; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Dr. Nicholas and Rose-Marie Carlisano; her sister-in-law, Kelli Pappas; two nephews, Matthew and Daniel; and her grand-pets. She was preceded in death by her mother, Eleanor Zimmer.

Steve Dutkowski
Steve Dutkowski, husband of the late Lillian M. Dutkowski, died Friday, Oct. 26, 2012.
Mr. Dutkowski was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and the Korean Conflict.
He is survived by two children, Gary Dutkowski and his wife Polly and Laura Broadbent and her husband Ken; his brother, Nick Dutkowski; six grandchildren, Melissa, Ashley and Steven Dutkowski, Shannon, Kiersten and Zachary Broadbent; and a great-grandchild, Sonny Brooks. He was preceded in death by three siblings, Andrew Dutkowski, Helen Gamble and Mildred Podolawchik.
