Paul Shabla
Paul Shabla of New Galilee, formerly of Pittsburgh, died Thursday, Oct. 24, 2013.
He is survived by his wife, Kathleen Leo Shabla; and two nieces, Sandy Zilles and her husband Jack and Kathy Chmura and her husband Tim. He was preceded in death by three siblings, Andy, John and Ann.
Friends were received at Thomas P. Kunsak Funeral Home, North Side. A funeral service was held in St. George Ukrainian Church on Monday.

Donald Giovengo
Donald D. Giovengo, 79, of Emsworth, died Saturday, Oct. 26, 2013.
Mr. Giovengo was a member of the Emsworth Volunteer Fire Company and the Tanglefoot Campers.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Ellen Giovengo; five children, Donna Tomaro and her husband Tony, Edward Giovengo and his wife Sandra, Denise Loop and her husband Jeff, Mike Stanley and his wife Ethel and Eric Stanley and his wife Lisa; two sisters, Jean Shannon and Dolores Schultz; nine grandchildren, Nichole, Samantha and Dylan Giovengo, Joseph, Christopher, Savannah and Abby Stanley, Leann Berwick and her husband Ethan and Milton Loop; and nieces and nephews.
Friends were received at McDonald-Linn Funeral Home, Avalon. A Mass of Christian Burial was held in Sacred Heart Church in Emsworth on Wednesday. Memorial contributions are suggested to the National Kidney Foundation, 3109 Forbes Ave., Suite 101, Pittsburgh, PA 15213.

Audrey Conway
Audrey H. Spahman Conway died Sunday, Oct. 27, 2013.
She is survived by her husband, Lawrence F. Conway; six children, Lawrence E. Conway and his wife Lynn, Michael J. Conway and his wife Roberta, Thomas R. Conway and his wife Kathy, Janet E. Killmeyer and her husband Jeff, Lynn E. Avery and her husband Patrick and Patricia M. Smith and her husband Ted; seven grandchildren, Patty, Steven, Michael, Caitlin, Nathaniel, Jessica and Trevor; and two great-grandchildren, Jamison and Tessa.
Friends were received at O'Brien Funeral Home, North Side. A funeral mass was held in the Church of the Assumption on Thursday.

James Sorg
James R. Sorg, 77, of Avalon, died Saturday, Oct. 26, 2013.
He is survived by two siblings, Lorraine Melville and her husband David and Richard Sorg and his wife Patricia; and his sister-in-law, Margaret Sorg. He was preceded in death by his brother, Raymond Sorg.
Friends were received at Joseph M. Somma Funeral Home, Robinson Township, where services were held on Thursday. Memorial donations are suggested to the American Lung Association, 810 River Ave., Suite 140, Pittsburgh, PA 15212.

Bernard Prazer
Bernard W. "Bud" Prazer of Pittsburgh died Friday, Oct. 25, 2013.
Mr. Prazer was retired from Laurel Savings Bank.
He is survived by his wife, Marlene Prazer; three children, Lynn DePauw and her husband John, Dr. Robert Prazer and his wife Megan and Patty O'Donoghue; his stepson, Brendan Pulaski; two brothers, Jim Schmitt and his wife Mary Alice and Al Schmitt and his wife Sue; 10 grandchildren, Matt, Kellyn and Taylor DePauw, Emma, Max and Caden Prazer, Brendan, Colin, Hannah and Conor O'Donoghue; and a great-granddaughter, Ruby. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Almira Gillespie Prazer.
There was no visitation. A memorial service was private. Memorial donations are suggested to Good Samaritan Hospice, 3500 Brooktree Rd., Suite 320, Wexford, PA 15090. Arrangements were made by the Lawrence T. Miller Funeral Home, Bellevue.
