Daniel R. Friedman
Daniel R. Friedman, 33, of Emsworth, died Thursday, September, 27, 2018, after a long courageous battle with brain cancer.
He was the son of Leonard Friedman and Dianne (Nick Matko) Friedman; brother of Leonard R. Friedman and step-brother of Nicholas Matko; grandson of the late Marjory and David Watkins and the late Leonard F. Friedman; nephew of David Alan Watkins, Linda Ward, Janice Markewinski, Robert K. Friedman and Ginnie Turner; cousin of Kenneth Belles; great-nephew of Janet Swanson.
Daniel enjoyed the outdoors, animals, fishing and cooking.

Arnold T. Ruppert
Arnold T. Ruppert, Sr., 90, of Bellevue, died Friday, September 21, 2018.
He was the husband of the late Eleanor M. (Rebel) Ruppert; father of Mark T. (Margaret) and Tod (Mia) Ruppert; proud Pop of Rebecca (Ra' John) Butler, Ashley, Jeremy and Joshua Ruppert; brother of the late Virginia Walker, Lenard, Ralph and Glenn Ruppert.
Arnold was born in Pittsburgh, on October 6, 1927 to the late Adam and Neveta Ruppert. He was a faithful husband, father, grandfather and follower of Jesus. He was a graduate of Oliver High School, Class of 1946. He went on to serve his country in the United States Army Air Force as a weatherman in Goose Bay Labrodor, Canada.
Arnold received his associates degree from Robert Morris College. He retired from D.T. Watson after a long career in accounting and finance.

Jayne E. Skolnekovich Davey
Jayne E. Skolnekovich Davey, 59, of North Huntingdon Township, formerly of West View, died Sunday, September 23, 2018.
She was the mother of Robert S. Davey, II and his wife April of North Huntingdon Township and Courtney M. Davey (Chris R. Ebert) of Millvale; daughter of Dorothea and the late John Skolnekovich, Sr.; proud Gam-Gam of Kendal L., Nathan A., Cayson R., Sahvana P., Khloe I., and Toby A.; sister of John, Anne, Rich, Mitch, Marcia, Connie, George, Ivan, Margie, Jerry and the late Patricia and also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Jayne, the comedian, who always enjoyed laughing and had a never ending smile will be greatly missed by her family. In memory of Jayne, her children suggest all be a part of the Walk for Diabetes, held each October in North Park.

Clare Della Ossman, 87, formerly of Avalon, died Tuesday, September 25, 2018.
Clare was born February 17, 1931 in Pittsburgh, daughter of the late Harry and Helen (Scheller) Ossman. She was mother to Teri O. (Martin) Barbie; grandmother to Shawn (Jessica) Barbie, Erin (Andy) Bird; great-grandmother to Michael Bird, Isabella Bird, Faith Bird, Iris Della Barbie; niece, Sandy (Darryl) Gorajewski; and nephew, Ralph Worley; preceded in death by sister, Mary Jane Worley; great-granddaughter Hadley June Barbie.
The family suggests memorial contributions to Allegheny Health Network Hospice, Office of Fund Development Hospice and Palliative Care, 4818 Liberty Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15224.

Virginia “Ginny” Utberg McMullan
Virginia “Ginny” Utberg McMullan, of Masonic Village of Sewickley, formerly of Seven Fields and Avalon, died September 30th, 2018.
Ginny was a gracious woman who loved unconditionally and was loved by all who knew her. She was the wife of the late William McMullan, Jr., mother of Lauren (Russ) Weber of Cranberry, Margie McMullan of Ben Avon, Ginger (Hutch) Hockenberger of Kingston Springs, TN, and John (Pam) McMullan of Hilton Head Island, SC; sister of Carolyn (Don) Utberg-Hood, Chuck (Sandy) Utberg of Gibsonville, NC, and the late Susan (Bob) Barnum. She is also survived by six grandchildren: Jared Weber, Scott McMullan, and Jenna (Sutton) McMullan-Freedman, Colin (Rachel) Hockenberger, Rachel (Daniel) Hodges, Audra Hockenberger and four great grandchildren.

Ruth M. Koerbel Nusz
Ruth M. Koerbel Nusz, 95, of Bellevue, died Monday, October 1, 2018.
She was the wife of the late Charles Nusz; mother of Merhle Nusz, Carolyn (Jay) Brickley and Pamela (Chuck) Reader; grandmother of Sherry Durkalski, Lori (Scott) Feeley, Michele (Chris) Sholar, Carrie Ann Jarvis, Steven (Britney) Reader, Ryan Reader and Stacy (Micah) Swartz; great-grandmother of Ben, Tanner, Oscar, Nikki, Jessie, Fox and Leo; great-great grandmother of Olivia and Luke; Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Ruth was preceded in death by seven brothers. Ruth was active in North Boro Meals on Wheels, The Sunshine Club and her church. She was also a former Sunday school teacher and the matriarch of the Koerbel Family.
Ruth was a very caring and kind person and will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
Burial was private. A memorial service celebrating Ruth's Life will be held Saturday, Oct. 27, 2018 at 10:30 a.m., in New Life Community Church, 45 N. Fremont Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15202.
Memorial contributions in Ruth's memory are suggested to the church.
