Bonnie Jean Kiger
Bonnie Jean Kiger, 59, of Bellevue, died Thursday, Sept. 26, 2013.
She was the daughter of the late George W. Sr. and Clara Taylor Kiger; mother of David G. Kiger (Janice); sister of John Kiger and George W. Kiger Jr. (Dusty); grandmother of Stephani C. Kiger (Ryan), Brandon and the late Kourtney Scott.
Memorial services were held Oct. 3, 2013 at O’Brien’s Funeral Home.

Daniel Hernon
Daniel Michael Hernon, 58, died Monday, Sept. 30, 2013.
He is survived by two sisters, Colleen Fox and her husband Walt Frederick and Diane Hernon Chavis; two stepchildren, Jacqueline Lee and David Levy Burgander; two nephews and a niece, Sean Timothy Fox and his wife Amy, London Sterling Chavis and his wife Anna and Jordan Ashley Fox; and four great-grandnieces and great-grandnephews, Aiden Christopher, Gavin Patrick and Dillon Andrew Fox and Payton Ashley Sloan. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bartley J. and Helen Monahan Hernon.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held in the Church of the Assumption on Friday. Burial was in Christ our Redeemer Cemetery. Arrangements were made by the Lawrence T. Miller Funeral Home, Bellevue.

Michael Kasarda
Michael J. Kasarda, 75, of Bellevue, husband of the late Rita P. Kasarda, died Saturday, Oct. 5, 2013.
He is survived by two daughters, Karen Kasarda and Kelly Beatty and her husband Jack; his son-in-law, Jim Wiesner; two grandchildren, Kelsey and Andrew Wiesner; and his uncle, Edward Kasarda. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Kim Wiesner.
Friends were received at the Orion C. Pinkerton Funeral Home, Avalon. A Mass of Christian Burial was held in the Church of the Assumption on Wednesday. Burial was in Christ Our Redeemer Cemetery.

Patricia Miller
Patricia Louise Miller of Cuyahoga Falls, OH, formerly of Zelienople and North Side and wife of the late Ronald Dale Miller, died Friday, Oct. 4, 2013.
Mrs. Miller was a legal secretary for many years.
She is survived by four children, Diane Sauers and her husband Norman Rivera, Judi Wahl and her husband Don, Andrew "Butch" Stanko and his wife Bonnie and Martin "Marty" Stanko and his wife Jenny; two brothers, Pete and Mike; 10 grandchildren, Jennifer Oshel and her husband Justin, D.J. Wahl and his wife Brittney, Michelle, Michael, Joshua, Erin and David Stanko, Cindy Goff and her husband Laven, Jordan and Morgan Rivera; five great-grandchildren, Emma Oshel, Cassie, Dustin, Junior and Kayla; and four great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Marie Green; and three siblings, Bud, Dolly and Sis.
Friends were received at the Lawrence T. Miller Funeral Home, Bellevue, where a blessing service was held on Wednesday. Burial was in Highwood Cemetery.

William Wills Sr.
William R. Wills Sr., 88, of Ben Avon, died Sunday, Oct. 6, 2013.
Mr. Wills was an Art Institute of Pittsburgh graduate. He was a U.S. Navy Seabees veteran of World War II, serving in the Pacific Theater. He worked at Herbick and Held Printing Co. and was retired from Graphic Arts Technology Foundation.
He is survived by his wife, Masie Nichol Wills; four children, William R. Wills Jr., Donna Ellery and her husband Harry, Ken Wills and his wife Joyce and Ted Wills; two grandchildren, Lisa and Harry Ellery III; a great-granddaughter, Mya; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by three siblings, Edna Wills, Frank Wills and Edith McDonough.
Friends were received at McDonald-Linn Funeral Home, Avalon. A memorial service was held in Greenstone United Methodist Church in Avalon on Thursday. Memorial contributions are suggested to Forbes Hospice, 4800 Friendship Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15224.

John Barr
John "Jack" Jelly Barr, 82, of Kilbuck Township, died Monday, Oct. 7, 2013.
Mr. Barr was a longtime member of Local #66 IUOE.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra Caughey Barr; his stepdaughter, Bonnie Amendola; three sisters, Patricia Knight and her husband Ralph and Lorraine Barr; his granddaughter, Eve Amendola; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two siblings, Paul Barr and Jean Potts.
Friends were received at Valerian F. Szal Funeral Home, McKees Rocks. A Mass of Christian Burial was held in Sacred Heart Church in Emsworth on Friday.

Esther McIntosh
Esther L. McIntosh, 87, of Emsworth, wife of the late William W. McIntosh, died Sunday, Oct. 6, 2013.
Mrs. McIntosh worked at Mellon Bank and retired from Blue Cross/Blue Shield.
She is survived by two children, Don C. McIntosh of Blanchard and Cynthia J. Groome of Emsworth; her brother, George Oleyar; her granddaughter, Heather M. Groome; her great-granddaughter, Ryalee Nicole Stephens; her niece, Susan; and two nephews, Tom and Bob. She was preceded in death by her son-in-law, John Groome; and three siblings, Martha Oleyar, Margaret Dean and Bertha Powers.
Friends were received at McDonald-Linn Funeral Home, Avalon. Services were held in Sewickley-Lighthouse Baptist Church on Saturday with the Rev. Richard Gelfand officiating. Burial was in Allegheny County Memorial Park.

John Stettner Sr.
John "Terry" Stettner Sr., 65, of the North Side, died Monday, Oct. 7, 2013.
Mr. Stettner was a U.S. Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Janis I. Struver Stettner; three children, John T. Stettner Jr., Janine Fonzi and her husband Bill and James T. Stettner and his wife Shannon; three siblings, Ronald Stettner, Linda Metzler and Roberta Moore; and four grandchildren, Billy, Cassandra, Brett and Crystal. He was preceded in death by his sister, Jacqueline Stettner.
Friends were received at Schellhaas Funeral Home, West View. A Mass of Christian Burial was held in St. Cyril of Alexandria Church on Friday.

Anna Marie Jacko
Anna Marie Jacko, 77, of Jackson Center, Mercer County, formerly of Pittsburgh and wife of the late Ernest Jacko, died Sunday, Oct. 6, 2013.
Mrs. Jacko was a graduate of Oliver High School and a member of St. Joseph Church in Coraopolis.
She is survived by four children, Karen M. Clipper and her husband Dave of Furnace, PA, Gina T. Hicks and her husband Jim of Mercer, Nancy A. Cassandro and her husband Jason Umemoto of Kailua, HI and Thomas G. Cassandro of Jackson Center; two brothers, Urban Corso of Bellevue and Clement Corso of Pittsburgh; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Urbano and Sophia Paradiso Corso; and her brother, Joseph Corso.
A memorial mass was held in Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Mercer on Friday. Memorial contributions are suggested to National MS Society, Central PA Chapter, 2040 Linglestown Rd., Harrisburg, PA 17110. Arrangements were made by Scott A. Black Funeral Home, Stoneboro, PA.
