Neil Richey
Neil M. Richey, 84, of Ross Township, died Wednesday, Jan. 14, 2015.
Mr. Richey served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict. After being honorably discharged, he worked for over 40 years in the grocery business and then for another 20 years working for his son in the automotive repair industry.
He is survied by his wife of over 63 years, Barbara (Waller), and 11 children, Michael Richey, Ruth Moore, Thomas Richey and his wife Cynthia, Robert Richey, R. Charles Richey and his wife Sue, James Richey, Lawrence Richey and his wife Sharon, Barbara McKnight and her husband Tim, Douglas Richey and his wife Melissa, William Richey and Susan Louviere; 22 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; and his brother, Paul Richey.
Friends were received at Devlin Funeral Home, and a Mass of Christian Burial was held at St. Teresa of Avila Church on Monday, Jan. 19.
Memorial contibutions are suggested to the Vincentian Home, 111 Perrymont Rd., Pittsburgh, PA 15237.

Carl Romano
Carl Romano, 84, of the North Side, husband of the late Marian Romano, died Thursday, Jan. 8, 2015.
Mr. Romano was a former Pittsburgh police officer and a member of the F.O.P. He formerly had owned Carl's Pizza Den.
He is survived by four children, Mary Ann Hronec and her husband Edward, Jeanine Romano and her husband David Biagini, Sherry Schepis and her husband Dom and Shaylie and her husband Mike Greenfield; three siblings,. Loretta Todoverto, Vincent Romano and his wife Provy and Honey Timpani; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister, Anna Marie Randazzo and her husband Phil; and two brothers-in-law, Ken Todoverto and Frank Timpani.
Friends were received at Thomas P. Kunsak Funeral Home, North Side. A funeral mass was held in Risen Lord Church on Tuesday. Contributions are suggested to the American Diabetes Association.

Theodore Plakan
Theodore "Ted" Plakan, 90, formerly of Avalon and husband of the late Aggie Plakan, died Thursday, Jan. 15, 2015 in Holy Family Manor.
Mr. Plakan had been the owner of Ted's Bar in Ambridge for 55 years.
He is survived by four daughters, Linda, Pat, Marian and Kathie; four grandchildren, Nadine, Ian, Jesse and Rachel; and his son-in-law, Brian Hildenbrand.
Friends were received at the Orion C. Pinkerton Funeral Home, Avalon, where services were held on Monday. Burial was private. Memorials are suggested to Holy Family Manor, 301 Bellevue Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15229.

Gloria Capp
Gloria "Ruth" Schutte Capp, 90, of Bellevue, wife of the late Raymond L. Capp, died Thursday, Jan. 15, 2015.
Mrs. Capp was a longtime member of the Church of the Assumption.
She is survived by four children,Stephen R. Capp and his wife Cathy, Susan Siedlarski and her husband Robert, Beth Pashuta and Robert J. Capp; six grandchildren, Laura Bogacz and her husband Michael, Rachel Moody and her husband Timothy, Jenifer Walker and her husband Jeff, Edgar, Raymond and Sara Westerman; and eight great-grandchildren, Logan and Justin Bogacz, Rowan, John and Quinn Moody, Ava Westerman, Ashlyn and Ryder Walker. She was preceded in death by her siblings.
Friends were received at the Lawrence T. Miller Funeral Home, Bellevue, until the time of a blessing service on Monday.

Charles Lowe
Charles "CC" Lowe died.
Mr. Lowe was a member of Avalon Lodge #657 F&AM.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret Farmer Lowe; nine children, Diane A. Lowe, Margaret J. Dvorsky, Evelyn S. Lowe, Margo L. Kording and her husband Brian, Charles E. Lowe, Gilbert D. Lowe, Melvin E. Lowe,Donald C. Lowe and Mark A. Lowe; his sister, Ruth Gibbon; grandchildren; and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Gorman H. Lowe; and three brothers,, Albert, Melvin and Donald Lowe.
Friends were received at Thomas P. Kunsak Funeral Home, North Side, until the time of services on Sunday.

Janet Dally
Janet McMaster Dally, 94, formerly of Sewickley, Ben Avon and Osborne and wife of the late Charles A. Dally III, died Wednesday, Jan. 14, 2015 in Sherwood Oaks.
Mrs. Dally was a 1938 graduate of Sewickley High School and earned a bachelor's degree at
Wilson College.
She is survived by three daughters, Elizabeth Dally and her husband Jim Houser, Mary Susan Dally and Kate Dally Shriver and her husband Scott; and four grandchildren, Steven, Helen, Sadie and Violet. She was preceded in death by her son, Charles A. Dally IV; and her parents, George C. and Elisabeth Lambie McMaster.
There was no visitation. Burial was in Sewickley Cemetery. A memorial service will be held later. Memorial contributions are suggested to World Vision. Arrangements were made by Copeland Funeral Home, Sewickley.

Robert Beatty
Robert E. "Sam" Beatty, 83, formerly of Emsworth and husband of the late Jacqueline Walsh Beatty, died Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2015.
Mr. Beatty was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of the Korean Conflict and received the Navy Cross. He was a member of Avalon Lodge #657 F&AM, a 33rd degree Freemason, a member of the Scottish Rite, Syria Shrine Naco Caravan No. 19 and the Knights of Templar.
He is survived by his daughter, Patricia R. Gregor of Gibsonia; three siblings, William D. Beatty, Jack E. Beatty and Joan Beatty; four grandchildren, Valerie, Stephanie, Kathryn and Eric; and nieces and nephews.
Friends were received at McDonald-Linn Funeral Home, Avalon, where services will be held tomorrow, Saturday, at 10 a.m.

Nancy Pendred
Nancy H. Laskey Pendred, 75, of Bellevue, wife of the late Michael J. Pendred, died Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2015.
Mrs. Pendred was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America, Court Bellevue,a member of the Church of the Assumption where she was Eucharistic Minister and a member of the Christian Mothers. After working as nurse, she volunteered at Allegheny General Hospital and at the urgent care at Suburban General Hospital.
She is survived by four children, Joyce A. Voltz and her husband Jon, Dr. Michael J. Pendred II and his wife Lauri, Janet Wigginton and her husband Scott and Mark Pendred and his wife Dawn; her daughter-in-law, Barbara Pendred; her brother, Charles Laskey and his wife Nita; nine grandchildren, Mallory Gurney and her husband Jason, Morgan Vasquez and her husband Brett, Melissa Voltz, Quinn and Broderick Pendred, Matthew and Mitchell Wigginton, Katie and Jacob Pendred; and nieces and nephews.

Marcella SeNay
Marcella B. SeNay, 90, of Bellevue, wife of the late Joseph SeNay, died Friday, Jan. 16, 2015.
She is survived by five children, Joe SeNay, Maryann Redlinger and her husband Bernie, Kathy Miller and her husband Rich, Donna Luterancik and Linda Gollob; 10 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Friends were received at the Orion C. Pinkerton Funeral Home, Avalon, where a blessing service was held on Thursday.
