The Cornell Raiders came to Northgate Alumni Field last Saturday for an afternoon game, and though it was a great day for football, the winless Flames found their misfortunes magnified, with only 12 players dressing for the game.

The Flames struggled to stop the Raiders on defense, and Cornell rattled off 13 unanswered points in the first quarter. The score was 26-0 before the Flames got on the scoreboard with a 75-yard kick return by Dylan White to make the score 26-7 after Heman Darjee nailed the extra point.

The Flames' defensive struggles continued and when the teams went into the locker room at halftime, the score was 45-7.

The second half was played with the clock running due to the mercy rule going into effect. The Flames got on the score board for the final time when Devonte Christe connected with White for a 45-yard TD pass. Darjee drilled the extra point with time expiring from the clock to make the score 58-14.
