Several personnel items were approved by the Avonoworth School Board during the March 13 meeting.
The board accepted the resignation of Barbara Clark, substitute food service worker, retroactive to Feb. 27.
The board approved Katie Libbon as a fourth grade day-to-day elementary school substitute for the remainder of the 2016-17 school year, at $140/day with no benefits, retroactive to Feb. 27.
Also, Tessa Babcock was approved as a day-to-day fourth grade elementary school substitute for the remainder of the 2016-17 school year, $140/day with no benefits, beginning approximately April 17.
Bernice Arienzo was approved as a substitute food service general worker, retroactive to March 6, for the 2016-17 school year, with no benefits, at a rate of $8.50/hour, pending requirements of the district.
Ryan Gracey was approved as a returning volunteer assistant coach for middle school baseball, for the 2016-17 school year.
The addition of one middle school baseball coach for the 2016-17 school year was approved.
Seven members of the football coaching staff were approved retroactively to attend a coaching clinic March 4-5 at Station Square, at a cost of $459 plus the cost of meals, not to exceed $100.
Brody Zangaro was approved as the middle school basketball coach (seventh grade) for the 2017-18 school year.
Bryan Miller was approved as head middle school baseball coach for the 2016-17 school year.
