A motor vehicle accident occurred on Elizabeth Avenue on April 15. Police say no one was injured.

A motor vehicle accident occurred on Ohio River Boulevard on April 16. Police say no one was injured.

Alex C. Smith, 32, of Pittsburgh, was arrested on April 16 for possession with intent to sell a controlled substance.

Following a traffic stop on April 17, Nathaniel Anthony, 27, of Avalon and Damien Leininger, 30, of Allison Park, were arrested for possession of a controlled substance.

On April 17, following a motor vehicle accident on Ohio River Boulevard, the passenger in the vehicle, Shantell Frazier, 29, of Avalon, was taken into custody because of a warrant out for her arrest.

Quinton Williams, 28, of Avalon was charged on April 18 for theft from a business on Ohio River Boulevard.

On April 21, Avalon Police officers were dispatched to a house on Elizabeth Avenue concerning a report of a rock thrown through a window.

On April 22, a motor vehicle accident occurred on Elizabeth Avenue. A vehicle had driven through a parking lot, over a concrete parking block and came to a complete stop on top of a retaining wall, striking a fence separating two properties. The vehicle pushed a dumpster over the hill, damaged some shrubs and a parking sign. Police say the driver was not injured.

Avalon Police officers were called to McKinley Avenue on April 22 concerning a reported dog bite.

On April 23, a four-vehicle accident occurred at the intersection of Ohio River Boulevard and Locust Street. No injuries were reported.

Keone A. Brown, 32, of New Jersey, was arrested following a traffic stop on April 24, for having two warrants out of New Jersey including a full extradition aggravated assault by use of a firearm warrant.

On April 25, Avalon Police officers were dispatched to South Home Avenue for a report of criminal mischief to a vehicle.

Gregory Cercone, 55, of Cranberry; Thomas Hegner, 27, of Conway; Megan Mellor, 26, of Pittsburgh and Nicholas J. Mixter, 30, of Ambridge, were arrested for possession of a controlled substance following a traffic stop on April 26.

A resident of Ohio River Boulevard reported harassment on April 26.

A motor vehicle accident occurred at North Ohio and Marie avenues on April 28.

Richard Lowe, 45, of Aliquippa, was arrested on April 29, following a traffic stop, for possession of suspected synthetic narcotics.

Criminal mischief to a California Avenue building was reported on May 1.
