On March 5, Avalon Police officers were called to California Avenue for a hit and run accident to a vehicle.

Avalon Police officers were called to a Union Avenue residence on March 6 for a burglary in progress. When police arrived, the residence was clear, however there was damage to the front door. On March 7, police were called back to the same residence for another burglary in progress. At this time, Timothy Bullied, 39, of Avalon, for whome there was an oustanding arrest warrant, was taken into custody for breaking into this residence the night before. Bullied was transported to the Allegheny County Jail.

Following a traffic stop on March 7, Donte Marcus, 23, of Pittsburgh, was cited for possession of marijuana.

Following a traffic stop on March 9, Mariah Jeffers, 28, of McKees Rocks, was charged with possession of suspected heroin, an active arrest bench warrant and a suspended driver's license.

Following a traffic stop on March 9, Brittany Lynn Platt, 25, of Avalon, was cited for possession of marijuana.

A resident of Eugene Avenue reported a break-in to a shed on March 9.

On March 10, a resident of California Avenue reported that, sometime overnight, one small pane of the glass window beside the front door had been broken.

Police responded to Chester Avenue on March 10 concerning damage to a vehicle.

Judith A. Storey, 53, of Avalon, was arrested on March 10 on an active warrant for her arrest. She was taken to the Allegheny County Jail.

James L. Montgomery, 28, of Glenwood, was arrested on March 10 for possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, suspected heroin.

Ryan M. Ulokovic, 36, of Homestead, was arrested on March 11 for possession of narcotics and also on a bench warrant for a probation violation.
