During a traffic stop on July 27, Avalon Police officers arrested David Roose, 46, of Renfrew and John Roose, 45, of Avalon, charging both with possession of suspected heroin.

Following a traffic stop on July 28, Murphy David East, 32, of Avalon, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol.

On Aug. 1, a McKinley Terrace resident reported that someone had broken the front window of her home. Police say that no entry was made and nothing was stolen.

On Aug. 3, Chad Goggins Jr., 26, of Turtle Creek, and Anthony Reddic, 26, of Spring Garden, were charged with carrying a firearm without a license.

Following a traffic stop on Aug. 5, Kelly Curtis and Justin Dolby, both 33 of Cranberry Township, were arrested and charged with possession of suspected heroin.

A resident reported being bit by a dog at the Avalon Pool on Aug. 5. Police say that no charges were filed.

On Aug. 6, a motor vehicle accident occurred on Ohio River Boulevard. No injuries were reported.

On Aug. 6, a California Avenue market reported a theft by two males thought to be between the ages of 15 and 21 who took beverages without paying.
