On June 13, Avalon Police received a report of a hit-and-run accident to a parked vehicle on California. Following a traffic stop on June 13 on Ohio River Boulevard, Thomas F. Coran, 30, of Willow Street and Anthony Scott Touchtone, 29, of Allegheny Avenue were each charged with possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia among a variety of other charges.

On June 14, Avalon Police officers investigated a vehicle parked on a sidewalk and in a yard near the intersection of South Home and Jackman avenues. They also found an intoxicated female lying on the sidewalk on Elizabeth Avenue.

Criminal mischief to public buildings was found by police on June 14 at Avalon Park. Three ceiling light fixtures were smashed, and what appeared to be human feces was found on the ground near the outer edge of a shelter.

On June 14, police were dispatched to South Union Avenue concerning a harassment complaint and disorderly conduct.

Harry Lindsey Hartzell, 52, of Sarver, was charged with driving under the influence and possession of a controlled substance, marijuana, on Ohio River Boulevard on June 14. His vehicle was towed from the scene.

A resident of South Birmingham Avenue reported identity theft/fraud on June 15. The resident received a collections notice from an agency attempting to recover $1,949 for a dish satellite the resident had never possessed.

Tiffany Lynn Carter, 30, of Center Avenue was cited for disorderly conduct and obscene language on Center Avenue on June 18.

A vehicle, listed as stolen on the NCIC database, hit a telephone pole on South Home/Hamilton avenues on June 19.
