On June 1, Avalon Police responded to a two vehicle accident in a parking lot of an Ohio River Boulevard business. There were no injuries.

On June 1, Avalon Police assisted Allegheny County Police and the FBI with an interview.

A victim of assault was treated by EMS personnel on Cleveland Avenue on June 1.

A resident of South Home Avenue reported fraud, a computer scan, on June 3.

Harassment on South Birmingham Avenue was reported on June 3.

Following a traffic stop on Ohio River Boulevard on June 4, an individual was taken to Sewickley Hospital for a blood test, and his vehicle was towed from the scene.

Criminal mischief to automobiles, including a broken driver’s side rear window, was reported by a Marie Avenue resident on June 4.

Police responded to a two-vehicle accident on Ohio River Boulevard on June 5. Both vehicles had front end damage and were towed from the scene.

Medics treated individuals involved in a two vehicle accident on Ohio River Boulevard on June 7.

Fraud was reported on June 8. A woman reported that her credit card had been lost or stolen, and four unauthorized transactions had been made.

Josh Heck, 33, of New Brighton, was charged with possession and concealing suspected heroin at an eatery on Ohio River Boulevard on June 9.

Following a traffic stop on Ohio River Boulevard on June 10, drug-related items and marijuana were recovered. The vehicle was towed from the scene.

Criminal mischief on North Ohio Street was reported on June 10. A window in a vacant house had been smashed, a side door forced open, and then clothes on the floor and other evidence of someone being inside were found.

Police responded to a motor vehicle and pedestrian accident at California and North Home avenues on June 11. A driver making a left turn into the sun did not see the individual crossing the road. The pedestrian received multiple fractured ribs, minor scrapes and bruising.

Lynn Keith Hargraves III, 21, of Avalon, was charged with possession of a controlled substance, marijuana, on Cleveland Avenue on June 12.

Police responded to a vehicle fire on Marie Avenue on June 12. Arson is suspected. The Allegheny County fire marshal is investigating.

Lloyd A. Brophy, 33, of Pittsburgh 15235, was charged with possession of a controlled substance, marijuana, on Ohio River Boulevard on June 12.
